[00:00:03.520] I was looking for a doctor that did the needle release procedure [00:00:09.920] for Dupuytren's contracture. [00:00:13.480] Actually, on the internet, I found Dr. Bates. [00:00:16.200] I had previously had an open hand procedure [00:00:20.560] on another finger, what I call zig-zag procedure. [00:00:26.440] I was looking for someone that did the needle release [00:00:28.560] because it's not as radical. [00:00:30.960] His staff were very helpful and he knew exactly what he wanted to do. [00:00:38.560] Of course, I haven't been through it [00:00:40.240] with having dealt with Dupuytren's contracture for years. [00:00:44.040] I knew a lot about it, [00:00:47.960] but I never had been to a doctor that did the needle release, [00:00:51.960] which Dr. Bates does. [00:00:54.680] I was very happy with him and his staff and everything. [00:00:58.440] When you have Dupuytren's contracture, it hinders your daily life. [00:01:04.760] When you get those figures straightened out [00:01:06.320] where they don't crook in like that, then it's a world of help. [00:01:13.680] You get your hand in your pocket where before maybe you couldn't, [00:01:17.840] so it helps a lot. [00:01:20.800] What impressed me about this practice in Dr. Bates and his staff [00:01:24.040] was they're very professional. [00:01:27.960] He knew exactly what he wanted to do, and it was very supporting, [00:01:32.640] instill a lot of confidence [00:01:34.400] when he talked about what he was going to do. [00:01:36.320] So I was very happy with that. [00:01:38.160] I certainly recommend Dr. Bates and his team to anybody [00:01:41.240] because they're very professional, [00:01:45.160] and instills a lot of confidence in what he's going to do. [00:01:48.160] Then during the procedure, very thorough. [00:01:51.440] So I was very happy.
